Burnley actually, in the evening waiting for my bus back to Darwen, the golden rays of the sun were burnishing the buildings along this street, emphasising all the different architectural styles into the bargain. To the back of me there is a nightclub, and outside it there is a huge copy of Michaelangelo's statue of Moses, the one in the Vatican.
Does anyone know why this statue of Moses has horns, yes horns, out of his forehead? I don't know but I think its something to do with the horns on the alter of sacrifice, where someone grasped the horns as he confessed his sin whilst the sacrifice was slaughtered.
Lovely sunshine on the buildings!
I love the sunshine on the buildings. You have a good eye.
I would never have taken a picture like this.....just wouldn't have seen what you saw.
Like I said you have a good eye.
