This is one of the places we went today. I couldn't resist getting a few pics.

Good idea to get out somewhere interesting and photogenic, theres some nice colours and tones here especially in the sky, and you've brought out the character of the place, the red sign on the extreme right grabs too much of the attention though.
Nice work. I like the logs, dead trees that are in the foreground.
That is one long bridge!
It's so interesting to "visit" through your eyes. Thanks, Scotty.
Thank you all for the nice comments.
:)Hi Scotty. From one scotty tp an other scotty right from Scotland. Please tell us where the bridge is. That is a great picture. Thanks. Gord. :coffee:
Hood Canal, Washington.
i like the color of the sky in the first pic. but it would have been more interesting if you would have zoomed in a little bit and left out the concrete part of the bridge and less land as well. but over all the first pic is good.
I like the composition of the B.&W. one a lot Scotty.
I think the colored version would have been improved by taking it from a similar angle as the B&W shot and thereby cutting out the distracting utility poles and wires, etc.
The composition of the 2nd shot is excellent. The first is a bit on the busy side.

I totally agree.
