Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Same building as Crinkled but from the opposite side, this time the gold tinted glass is reflecting the sky, and the clouds appear to be actually passing through the building. Salford Quays at the head of the Manchester Ship Canal. I've also included a sepia version of this one just for comparison.

Ellette

Ooh...this is another interesting one.  I think I would have liked the sepia version better...but it is kind of muddy looking.  The sepia in your post from the other side of it worked nicely because you had true darks and true lights and a wider range in the midtones.  I think both could probably use a bit of an adjustment but the sepia shows it the most.  I think the picture is fantastic though...would you mind me playing with it or would you mind if I hover a bit while you play with it?  It has an almost Willy Wonka feel or maybe some space building in the future...I don't know, but it almost doesn't feel real and it needs a bit more punch I think to bring out the fantasticness (new word? :) ) that is dying to show itself.

Summicron

Go ahead, have a good play with it, I'm just having a bite to eat before going out, a set of slides came back a few minuites ago, which I'm pleased as punch with.

Ellette

There...unfortunately upping the contrast does make the blown clouds more noticeable, but I still like it.  I go for a more subtle old film type sepia, but anyhoo...there you go...feel free to detest it!  :)

Woohoo I love it!!  The original was good as well but you have taken good and made excellent!

I would love to copy that and frame it!

Summicron

Right Judy, if you have an E mail address I'll send you the large size.

We're getting there, with difficulty, should be ready to E mail anytime now, had to work from the original. How did earwigs get their names? Well two of them were sat on a slide and one slid down, shouting Ere Wi Go, the other did the same, and shouted Ere Wi Go Again, so that's what Adam called them. So here we go.

Glad you liked that one.

I always wondered how they got their name.

Good photographer's eye for spotting this image, Summicron. It's great how the clouds really do look like they're moving right through the building!

Love the visual effect you've captured!
