Do you know that song Where I come From, "  Well Where I come from God has blessed me so, This building is as the kids that come around say is guarded by the tree.  When the told me that I began thinking about the song "This old House "  is a Bluegrass Gospel Song.  Well anyway the kids love this tree because around the kids still get out and play cowboy and indians, cops and robbers and they still climbs trees.

I remember as a kid playing under big old oaks, I think that is a oak, like that with my cousins. Trees like that are fast disappearing  around here. What a shame!

Up here they are being cut down for fire wood.  I really don't care id Poplar or aspen are cut down, they grow fast and if left too long they rot from inside.  But the big old oaks and maples .,....I think shoulf be left!

I live on about 2 acres my home sits a little off from the road and we have about 28 old oak trees on our land alone.  It's beautiful in the spring when when they start to bud out and in the summer or how the help the electric bill with the shade they provide.  Fall to begin with with beautiful but when the leaves start falling what a mess lol.  WInter very pretty if it snows, other than that you start wanting spring.  Ill try to post more pictures of the scenery from here would love to see some from other parts of the country.  Blessings Marlo
