Sadly, no longer part of any railroad lines, but at one time, the busiest passenger station in the world. Preserved as a mall and a hotel. Thank goodness. The architectural details are wonderful.

This stained glass window, over the main entrance, shows three muses as the cities of (from the left) San Francisco, St. Louis, and New York, emphasizing the role of the railroads in pulling the country together, and the role of St. Louis as the jump-off point for the West.
