Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Each year our church (as do many, I'm sure) produces an Easter pageant.  The production requires a cast & crew of over 1000 people and a virtual menagerie of animals (horses, camels, sheep, goats, etc).  The set requires 3-4 weeks to construct and then, 2-3 weeks to remove and store.  The Easter Passion runs 3 weeks.  It rivals many Broadway productions.  Here are a couple of photos of the set.  This is inside our worship center.

This looks like an interesting pagent.  Well done to the crew and actors.

The bottom two pictures didn't come up for me, probably because I am on dial up.

This must be an incredible presentation.

I am in a little 100 person church so this is amazing to me.

Normally, it's played to sell-out audiences, Becky.  The worship center holds 9500 people.  Our usual Sunday attendance is around 5000 in the first service and more in the second service.  It's a BIG church but, it's very warm & welcoming.

99% of the pageant is done by volunteers.  Believe it or not, they have to turn away volunteers through auditions because the turn-out is so great.  We've hired Michael O'Brien (http://www.michaelo.org/) to write some of the music and possibly be part of the Passion.  Should be good  :)

Wow! I can't get used to how big churches are down south. I think there is only 1 church in the area which could do something like that, but they put on a big production at christmas.
every other year we do a "living lord's supper", but it's not in the same league at all.

I've seen "Phantom of the Opera" and "Les Miserables"... both in London, Smoky.  This is easily on par with those.  It's amazing!  C'mon down and have a look!
