:) :) :) NICE PICTURES ... :) :) :)
WOW! What a difference. Having fun, eh? lol Great pictures
Okay....I will bite. Were these taken day or night?
Great pictures....both of them!!!
They were both taken at night....
;)
??? If both were taken at night, why is the one taken without flash lighter than the one with flash??? You must be enjoying your camera! Nice shots!
The one without flash was taken at ISO 3200 (as opposed to ISO 100 with flash)
;)
That is pretty amazing and you don't have a lot of grain. both are wonderful shots.
thanks....
yes....I was quite amazed by the results...
Great shots! And were they "hand-held"?
Thanks for sharing them with us.
Got any more? Also thanks for the little lesson.
yes....both were hand-held
awsome contrast. !! I really like the mood and how it changes...
Theres a whole community of people out there that use the canon digitals and higher iso / exposure with pods to do "night" photography. its a weird scene...
I switched from film to a 20D, and I love the lack of noise you can get with a high ISO. Incredible illustration you have here!
This is interesting data.....my little camera is so limited. But then, so is my skill!!
Nice photo's and hope more will come in future.

Way cool!
How are your photos now? Anymore experiments?

Of the three above, thesaj, that violinist is really wonderful. The passion in that photo is speaking volumes to me. And look at the movement in the hair!
I like the little turtle too. Grew up with those. Lovely detail.
Of those, the swan is by far my favorite...
:-)
OK The swan... Were they BOTH reflections from the other side of the pond?
For me on my monitor, the one on the right is so different. I really like the way you've been able to get the swan between the two but was wondering about the different colours.
OK upon reflection, I guess they were different kinds of lights that were being reflected. ::) Sorry.
I'm going to post a swan that I took.
It was just a blah swan and I didn't know how to make it more interesting looking so I tilted the image.
Here's my swan, thesaj.

It was the reflection of two different lights on the ocean water.
