Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

We have a "cruise in" every year here.  We have a steam train come and tons of old cars all take over the old town part of our town.  I am not much of a car fan, nor am I terribly excited by trains other than I have to be due to having boys.  :2funny:  So, as you can tell...I tend to look for the more abstract.

Any comments more than welcomed.  Also, if you can tell by the grill and the light what kind of car it is...I'd love it.  All I know is that it was red, old, and pretty.  :)

and the other one.

the wheels on this train are about 6'4" tall.

Some gorgeous detail on the front of\this automobile, I particularly like the way you've used the pattern of the grille to balance up the headlight, some nice tones and colours here.

Pat

Wow, Sara!  These are wonderful shots!  I love the depth of colour in them.  They sure look rich!

Thank you both.  This is pretty much the only way you'll get good pictures from me when it comes to the car show here.  There are just too many people (I'm actually happiest with almost no one around in spite of how much I seem to want to talk), the cars are just sitting there crammed in next to each other.  The light is generally horrible, and when it is hot I'm cranky as well as being bored but having to pretend I'm interested and excited because I've got the boys.  :)

LOL  I do so relate.  YOu sound like me with truck shows, whe ones for semi's, even though I drove one.

I am with Pat though, your sense of depth of colour and the framing of the pictures is awesome!

Ellette

Thank you Judy.  I was a computer technician for a while...but I don't much like the things.  ;D  I think it is all about trying to see things different.

I love semi truck drivers.  :)  One of my favourite people in the world, who was like a second father to me, drove a semi truck.  He died of cancer shortly after he was in our wedding.  I look forward to seeing him again.  Then, because of a very scary semi driver I found out that my guardian angel drives an old blue Cadillac.  Sounds very screwy, but is true...a bit long of a story for this thread though.

JudyB

Sounds interesting.
