#2 looks like Crewel embroidery on blocks and then quilted. Very striking design.
It is all fabric designed no crewel.
Marilyn, your quilts are of interesting shapes and sizes.
Larry they are not MY quilts these are the quilts I photographed at the fair.
I have no Idea how this lady made this quilt look like a painting but it is beautiful you really need to see all these quilts in the full image in my gallery.

This quilt was one of three on display that were made in a very unique way. She took a digital photo an zoomed in to see every single pixel, then made a pattern from that, the cut out each individual pixel on the fabric. She then fused them to fusible backing there are over 5000 individual squares. She then laid over the whole thin a piece of netting to make it looks shiny and then machine quilted the whole thing. Very intricate work, I didn't get photos of the other two and I should have.

These are some fantastic pieces of work. I have looked at them in your gallery, Marilyn and am amazed at the patience and artistic talent involved. I sure hope there were blue ribbons awarded!
These look gorgeous. I will have to take a trip into the gallery to look at them in larger format!
Absolutely gorgeous. I used to do quite a lot of quilting but these are just outstanding.
Marilyn: Thanks for sharing
