This is the movie poster for "On My Own", an independent film premiering locally this August.  I did the stills for the movie and have a vested interest in it since my whole family, including myself, is in it and the film group, AKB Productions is my eldest daughter's.  She wrote the script and directed the film, including all the casting and designed most of the costumes and everything.  Can't wait for the premiere!  To read more about the movie and see the trailer go to http://www.freewebs.com/akbproductions/onmyown.htm

Thank you, ladies!  Yes, I am very proud of her.  She's written a new script and will be holding auditions for her next full-length film sometime in 2011, after she graduates from cosmetology school.

Thanks!  We have all been into acting throughout our lives.  From community plays as a youth up through our current drama team at church.  My mother, both daughters, husband and myself are all in the On My Own movie, too.  My hubby is the slightly greying man on the poster, the tall, dashing one.   He doesn't look that tall in the poster, though because of how they placed him.  Oh well.
