  • From LaughingPeppers:  "I mean any photo that is relevant to apples. It could be an apple tree, apple juice, apple cider, apples in a crate, an apple bite, etc. etc. I trust your imaginations and visions. This is going to be an interesting challenge. I hope more entries will be posted this time.

  • Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.

Hot Apple Cider with Cinnamon

This is my fourth and final entry for APPLES. Apple Cider with Cinnamon.

In case some of you were wondering why I chose APPLES for this super mini challenge. It is for a very significant reason. I am celebrating the acceptance of my Christ-centred short story: "My Father's Tree" to the soon to be released book entitled Hot Apple Cider with Cinnamon. This book is an anthology of heart-warming short stories, written by Canadian Christian writers and published by That's Life Communications which is also Canadian. It should be available in book stores as well as on-line in Amazon by this fall, in hard copies and e-book format. Hot Apple Cider with Cinnamon is the third anthology of the Hot Apple Cider books.

Thank you all for your apple shots. I enjoyed all of them and they gave me a great sense of celebration.

Such lovely photos in this one!  (As usual!)  I loved the sense of humor expressed in BigSkyKen's entries, the beauty of the apple blossoms by Pat, the....well, they are all good!  Thanks to all for entering!  I enjoyed your photos!

I second the motion, Pat. We need more "Janets" to post encouraging words of appreciation for the photographers who put the valuable effort in keeping the Mini Challenge afloat. Without the contenders, there will be no Mini Challenge.

It was very difficult to decide on 5, only 5, among all the great photos.  This was a wonderful choice for a theme.  :)
Search me oh God, and know my heart. Teach me and know my anxious thoughts. Look for the hurtful ways in me, and lead me in the way...everlasting.

Great Mini-Challenge. A lot of different Talents showed in the entries.  :clap: :clap: It was very hard to vote for just 5. :yes: :yes: I like the way the balloting went back and Forth. You didn't know who was going too win til the very end. :thinking: :thinking: Congratulations to all the winners. I did love Jim D.'s Trio with all the Water Droplets.
The Apple Pie with Ice Cream was another favorite. I really liked all the entries. Thanks to Laughing Peppers for picking the Subject. :clap: :clap: Now it's up to Jim D. to pick the next Subject for  :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2: :groupwave: :groupwave: :cp: :cp:the Mini Challenge.
