Sedum is used as a ground cover to choke out weeds.  I think it is a succulent.  The blossoms at best are around 9mm (about 3/8").  Under the Raynox they look a little like some cactus blooms I've seen   

I'm finding the Fuji does a much nicer job with the Raynox on board than the Oly and the 14-42mm.  I suppose I should just use the 70-300 w/Raynox and be done with it and that's what I'll do henceforth.  The first ones are from the Fuji.

What a lovely little plant.  These are well taken.  Pretty flowers!


Now my question is  once they have choked out the weeds are they are to get rid of???

I leave 'em in place and just thin them out occasionally.  They are hardy enough that you can walk on them and they spring right back.  To answer your question:  Don't know.  Haven't tried.

Your sedum is that far along already? Mine won't be blooming for another month or two.

Those are beautiful, amazing macros. Sedum blossoms are really quite small.

As for are they easy to get rid of, well, mine are so beautiful, I wouldn't want to. Mine grow more as small bushes. The bushes are a bit overgrown this year, so next spring I'll split them and give pieces to friends. Over the years your friends give them to friends, who give them to friends......

What color are your blossoms? They look white.

Mine start out white, but as they open up they turn from white to the palest pastel pink, to a deep, beautiful rust before they dry to a rather nice-looking brown winter pod.

The blossoms are a light yellow.  I give so much of this stuff away it's pitiful!  heheheh
