JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

This is the first time I have ever posted in this forum.  You can thank Judy Mc.  She enjoys baked apples as do I.  Let me know what you think!

Stuffed Apple Crisps.

These individual crisps are a fun twist on the fall classic dessert. They are a great way to use that bounty of apples you've just picked. Check out local farmer's markets for a wide variety of fresh apples as well.
Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter, melted
4 large baking apples
1 cup cranberry-apple juice or apple juice

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Baking Time: 50-60 minutes
Serves 4

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and butter in a small bowl. Cut 1/2-inch slice from top of each apple. Using melon ball cutter, remove core and seeds from each apple, leaving bottom intact.

2. Place apples in a 9-inch square baking dish. Spoon oat mixture into center and on top of each apple. Pour cranberry-apple juice over apples.

3. Bake, basting with juice several times, until apples are tender when pierced with a fork, 50-60 minutes. To serve, place warm apples in dessert dishes; spoon juice on top.

Per serving: 337 Cal.; 3g Protein; 7g Fat; 70g Carb.; 10mg Sodium; 15mg Chol.; 7g Fiber.

Thanks, Judy.

I will stock up on the ingrediants and make this soon.

Loved Etta's apple crisp and I am sure this will be a
big hit.

Individual ones for everyone.

Along with Marilyn's pineapple cake post; I am all set with dessert for a while.

Thanks for sharing,
Joyce

would this be good with granny smith apples or what
kind of apples be the best.???

I am sure any baking apple or tart apple would work.

I personally like McIntosh apples.  They are good to eat as well as good for baking.

Etta Sue

This does sound soooo good!  Maybe I could make these for Sunday lunch.
