I really like the difference in color between the foreground and background flowers.  Nice.

Yes I agree with ohenry.  The contrast between colours and the green is amazing.

Is this planted this way?  or, Is it a meadow?

It is a meadow, but every year the lower part has all these wonderful flowers.   I believe they are all perannial wild flowers.   The farmer mows the field for hay, but always leaves this patch alone until the flowers fade.

It is so good that he leaves the beauty till it is gone.  So often we see the beauty destroyed my mankind.  He is respecting the Maker of meadows!

The backlighting really makes those purple flowers stand out against the background, and the colours of the different varieties of flowers harmonise well, perhaps a reminder of just what the Garden of Eden must have been like, but now in a much reduced state. I haven't seen this picture up until now, but I'm happy I did happen onto it, lovely.
