Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Gotta love this one. I could sit under that tree all day long.

It's going to be like this again before long.

Was that taken this year?  If it was my goodness you have more colour in your trees than we do in Northern Ontario!

Beautiful picture thank you for that.

What a wonderful place to stroll - and kick the leaves as you go!  :D Our colors aren't that advanced but at the rate they're turning it won't be long.

We don't see much of that in Texas.    There is a bit of color in the hills of East Texas, but nothing like the maples and oaks on the bluffs near the Mississippi River in Iowa.    And my wife is from New England.    She bites her tongue when someone remarks on the autumn foliage in Texas.

I miss it.  Thanks for showing us.

I was in Austin once when my brother lived there and he took me outside of Austin, maybe 30 minutes or less, can't remember exactly, to what he called the hill country. I could not believe how much the terrain changed from flat to really hilly country. The roads or paths were all dirt and at the intersections the people that lived there all had their names on wooden signs pointing the way to where they lived. If I remember correctly the land owners had their land fenced to the paths and the cows just roamed wherever they wanted to on the land or path or wherever. They could not leave the land they were supposed to be on via the path because their were cattle grates in the path where each persons land stopped. I will never forget because I can still see those little wooden signs with the family names on them. I had never seen anything like it. Wish I had a photo. That was a long time ago so I am sure it has all changed now.

Barbarians comment brought that back to mind.

Enough rambling for now.

We will be enjoying the colors soon here in New England.  However, that ushers in the cold New England winters.  Yikes!!!  I much prefer Texas, but my wife is a Brit and does not like the hot weather there.  I first went to Texas in 1963, Lackland AFB, San Antonio.  Fell in love with Texas then.

Great capture!
