JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I hear this question asked a lot, "can I use my old FD lens with a digital camera?" I also hear a multitude of answers, so decided to try for myself.
This is one of my first attempts. What do you think, worth the effort? I'm thinking
with the right subject and lighting, and some practice, you could get some pretty good shots.

Well, it's a bit grainy and not quite in focus.  I bet with practice it would get better, and might be fun.  I have an FD 50 1.4 that is attached to my Canon AE-Program, decorating a shelf in my bookcase.  It's gorgeous glass, and I bet it would give my EF lenses a run for their money, optically, that is.  I often think of trying to find an adapter, but that's just not high on my list of priorities right now. ;)
Canon EOS 40D

I agree. I wouldn't want to put a lot of time into it, but hate to just use these old FD lens as paper weights. They certainly don't bring much on the used market and I've tried to figure out a use for them for years. I don't desire to use film any longer.
