JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Don is making an early lunch for us while I check on weather in Janet's area.  Kansas is blowing away - almost.  100 mph gusts yesterday and the Hays area is having the same thing today.  There is a new- to- me weather term and it is named a Gustnado (Get it?) Gusts plus tornado.  The picture was wicked to say the least.  It looked like a wall of dirt being blown in.  Janet - go ahead and buy the artificial flowers.

Hi, friends,

I've been nursing a cold, so primarily stayed in bed the last 2 days. I believe the worst has passed - we'll see. :)

It's good to see the posts from so many of you. Since I haven't opened my apartment door for a while, I'll just say good night and God bless.

Love to all,
Ruth Ann

Well, I made it home this evening just before 5 p.m. As usual, just a bit tired from the 9+ hours of driving, but now I can take a while to unwind and rest.  It's good to be with family (only managed to be with Dot's this time) and always even better to get back home.  :)

It is much cooler here on Oregon's south coast.

I'll be back later ... got some unpacking to do as well as other things.  Just wanted to check in and let y'all know I'm home, safe and sound (or as sound as I'll ever be, at this stage in my life).   :)

Hi everyone,we got back from Sunriver yesterday afternoon a day early, we had three days off of and on rain and when we left it was really pouring for about 30 minutes, as we were driving  on the highway it was difficult to see out the windshield. we did get in some long walks pretty often so that as good. Spent some time swimming and in the hot tub with the  water jets   pulsing on my lower back.  I'm still have a lot of lower back pain. My Dr appointment for July got put off until Aug 1st by the Dr's office.  I've already been waiting two  months to go in about all this back pain.

Hi everyone on a bright and sunny day here in Georgia.  Today's schedule includes attending church and then out to lunch.  I had a very good day yesterday and think my blood pressure stayed up a bit and I just took it this morning and it was 98/59 so I am in good shape for today as that is about my normal reading. Pat just made us a couple of very tasty breakfast burritos with salsa.

Jeanne, it hasn't been as hot here the last few days as we had most of last week and think that helped me feel better.  However, this week we are to be in the low to mid 90's everyday.

Carol, your mention of the end of days book brought to mind reading the "Left Behind" series of some years ago.  Hope your book discussion went well.  I didn't hear anything about those terrible winds in Kansas. Ir sounds like Janet would have to bolt down her artificial flowers and containers to keep them from blowing away.

Ruth Ann, hope this day finds your cold much better.

Jane, nice to see you have completed another successful trip to California.  I think a nine hour drive would exhaust any of us, at least I know it would Pat and I.

Marilyn, shame to have three days of your vacation dampened by that rain but sounds like you had some nice weather as well and had a good time.

I spent a couple of hours last night preparing my Ladies Bible Study lesson For Thursday. This one is  for the most part on John 4 and the women  in that chapter.

I am ready for church, I wish I had some dress clothes that fit me since I've last 44 lbs. but unfortunately all I have are two pair of jeans and a few shirts. I gave away all my XL shirts and I have yet to give away the  pant suits but the don't fit either.  I will have to replenish my wardrobe when  we ladies have the yard sale at the church, or from the thrift store.

I still need to take the pictures out of my camera, I did post the ones I tool with my phone one Facebook though.
