In my quiet time this am, it came to me that photography is one way that I draw closer to God, that it helps me to open my heart to God through:

- the beauty and wonder of God's creation,
- the gift of paying attention (mindfulness)
- the gift of appreciation (thankfulness)

I started jotting down notes for a short book -- like this one: http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/blog/about-jock-elliott -- that would be turned into a PDF and made available as a free download with no marketing "hooks" whatsoever.

While I was explaining my idea, my wife said "You're good at interviews, you ought to interview other Christian photographers and see how photography helps them to draw closer to God."
