Yes ... happened all the time as I was growing up.  My mom cooked what she could get and lots of times it was something I didn't happen to like ... ate it anyway!

no.  HYE hurt your back lifting something heavy?

No.  When I was very young, my dad showed me how to lift heavy objects so as not to hurt myself.
