Fairly typical Lancashire landscape around this time of year, I take Margery's dog out for a walk, so the camera comes along too, on this occasion the clouds broke for a few moments and I was able to capture the white house in full sunlight. A surprisingly difficult shot to get the contrast, brightness, saturation, and lightness right, had to even boost the yellow levels up by about thirty points to get it right. Makes you want to snug up to a log fire, with a mug of cocoa, tea, or coffee.
