Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

A return to Todmorden again, but this time I haven't been back, I just got a box of colourslides back, and am posting one I took with the rangefinder camera + 135mm lens. This is a wall at the side of a pub and marina on the Rochdale canal in Todmorden, the wall is decorated with these bronze fishes, and I guess the tub is there to help with the river bottom theme, personally I'd like to kick it in the canal, as it intrudes on the cleaness of the wall, the two figures are a little out of focus as I was concentrating on the wall. With a rangefinder you don't have the luxury of seeing what is and isn't out of focus within the viewfinder, except through the split image rangefinder, again it's a wonderful learning process.

Every new photographer should learn how one of the Film cameras work and put at least one film through it.

This is a very interesting shot.  Amazing what people put on walls!

I was here two days ago, looked at that wall and was so wrapped up in what I was seeing, I forgot to post.   :o  That couple seem totally unaware of what's behind them.  Maybe they're just so used to it they don't even notice any more.   ;D

This is an interesting wall.  I like the fish scattered about.  The tub would be hard to shoot around (and of course the two people for now).

Rangefinders may not show you focus, but they are much more accurate than the usual SLR screen.   I miss my old Pentax Spotmatic F, with it's tiny rangefinder spot in the center of the screen.   I agree about the tub.   Really messes things up.

So....

Let's get it out of there.

Oooh good job well done, I haven't got round to such advanced cloning yet, I'm going to have to go back to Todmorden and reshoot this area.

Jeanne Lee

Great job of cloning, Barbarian.  How much better the scene looks without the tub!   :D
