It was a cloudy, moody morning when I recently took this sunrise image at Schwabacher Landing, with the Grand Tetons reflecting in the beaver ponds.  Such an awesome Creator we have.  His mercies are new every morning.

The timing was a little tricky as the sun kept peeking through and then going behind the clouds again.  I have some more from this shoot that I plan to post later.  Computer died shortly after I did a quick pp on this shot.

Ah! the famous beaver pond! I also have a shot from there, but not so early!

Famous indeed!    There were probably 20 or more other photographers there photographing with me.  I was in some quite good company, too.  One of the guys I met has been a pro for over 35 years.  He has won many prestigious awards during his career.  He even gave me some free tips.  It was great! 

I have many more from this shoot and the light and colors kept changing so gloriously.  I will try to post more soon. 

Isn't it great? In any photo book of the Tetons there is at least one photo from this pond, yet they are all different.

Yep, it was quite early for a night owl like myself.  It sure was worth it, though.
