We were on our way from Teton Village to home in Idaho when I took this image of Old Faithful.  We only had time for one eruption, so I had to get it right; or at least as right as I could with one shot.  It's as beautiful and amazing as I remembered.

You did get it right. The exposure looks spot on. Hard to really tell with such a small photograph. Good work. I'm living 4 hours from there, need to go. Never been and I'm from Idaho.

I have to enjoy these sights vicariously.  There's just no way at this age I could ever get to see these scenes in person.  So heartfelt thanks!

Thanks!  I will try to post a larger image later, but this is just a little blog size file.  Computer died so I am just now getting up and running again. 

You are so close, you really need to go see it for yourself. It's so worth it!

Jeanne, I am honored and happy to be able to bring these scenes to you!  I have several in the sequence of this eruption but I only posted the one when it was at its highest.
