Hello. I recently joined this forum. I like to call myself Desert Nomad. That will tell you a lot about me. I am a lifelong Lutheran, and I adhere to an orthodox view of doctrine. I have been serious about photography for about six years. I actually first got interested in photography when I was in junior high. I joined the photography club at school and had access to a darkroom. My dad gave me an Argus C3 camera and a bunch of old movie film he had scrounged, which I loaded into film cans myself. But that was the last time I had access to a darkroom, and when I got married, we started having a family pretty quickly, and after that, I was soon immersed in homeschooling. Once our kids left home, that's when I got really serious about photography. I have a fairly large collection of my photographs on the internet, and I am just now working on making some galleries where I link my photos to favorite Bible verses. My other big effort that is relevant is that I am putting up the basic Gospel message in as many languages as possible, on the internet. I currently have 139 languages. If anyone can help me with that project, I would love it! I need information from more languages, primarily.

Hello Pat we are so happy that you have joined us here on Christian Photographers. If you wil check the New every Morning thread you will see that we have welcomed you there, that is where we meet each day for cyber coffee and donuts and chat about what is going on in our lives, ask questions, read devotional etc.
