Christian Photographers Community

Hi ! My name is Lee Love and I am new to the site but wanted to introduce myself and also try to connect to any other photographers in the Washington DC area.

The short version is I used to be professional photographer many many years ago. I got out of photography for quite awhile but returned to one of my loves as the digital format began to come down in price and the quality went up.

I am involved in many different ministries but one that I started a few years ago is some thing I call "ChristianPhotography.org". Basically I believe God has provided me these amazing tools and I look for opportunites to glorify Him and to give back for all of the blessings I have received. So I volunteer my time and talents to help support other ministries in the area. My main focus is event photography and music related events.

Now that you know a little about me I would like to get in touch with any photographers in the DC area. I have some rather large Christian outreach events that I am not sure I can cover by myself. It would be great if there are other photographers in the area who have a heart for the Lord and for serving.

If you have a quality 35mm DSLR (preferable Nikon but Canon is fine) and you would like to get involved the please let me know.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Its great to find a group of brothers and sisters who enjoy photography.

I will try to post a few images from time to time so you can get to know the kinds of things I enjoy shooting. Right now most of my time is being spent in growing our music ministry (ChristianMusicianRadio.com) so I am not able to do as much photography as I would like. But I have a pretty large collection so I should be able find a few images that you might enjoy.

Judy, yes I have been to Canada and it is indeed a beautiful country. Of course it is a huge country so I have only seen a very small portion of what Canada has to offer.

I don't want to use this space to go into this because it probably belongs in another section like the musc area. But God has bless the radio ministry beyond my wildest dreams and He is not done yet. I could tell you so many stories about how He has put people in my path and opened so many doors that just amaze me.
