JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Hi, my name is Tegan (sounds like TEAgan). I am 21, almost 22. Right now I live in Iceland with my husband Matt, son, Tyler(16mon.) and expecting our 2nd baby boy in April of this year. My husband is in the US Navy. This is why we are here in Iceland. We are originally from the Cleveland area in Ohio. We have been here in Iceland since January 2003. We are due to be leaving here this summer either June or July. Right after the new baby is born, so this will be intresting how the move goes with a toddler and a newborn.
I grew up in a very Christian house!! My parents have very good values and fully rely on God. As well as we do now. We hope to pass the same Christian values to our children that our parent's enstilled in us. I was 10 when I gave my life to Jesus. I remember it was with my dad. He had already given his life many many many years before, but he helped me fully understand! I will always remember it as I am sure he will also.
I have been taking photos since I was a little kid. With any camera I could get my paws on. Mostly disposable ones. If anything happened to it no big deal to my parents. I bought my first real camera when I was 14. I can't remember to real name for it but it was a Cannon AE-1 I believe. I had that camera forever. I actually still have it though. I upgraded to a cheap digital camera in 2001 or 2002 and loved it. I mostly use digital now. I have a Sony DSC-V1, Cybershot, 5.0mp, 4x zoom. My husband says that when we get back to the states I can upgrade to a drebel which makes me thrilled!!!!
My other hobbies are singing, traveling, scrapbooking & card making and of course photography. I have been singing since I was about 4. My dad plays the piano and has since he was 4 himself. He writes a lot of his own music. All Christian music. We love old hymns. Seems like anymore these days it's hard to find a church that still sings Hymns. It seems like everyone is crossing over to contemporary. SO that is something we have special! In 2002 I was in a contest by The Fish a local Christian station in Cleveland. I made the top 50 out of 300 to compete for a contract but was cut when they named the final 12. It was a great experience though and I met a lot of wonderful people!! Here is some of my songs I have sang if you would like to listen... http://briefcase.yahoo.com/tegs_matt
And if you would like to see photos of Iceland and my son Tyler, you can look here....http://photos.yahoo.com/tegs_matt

Well, That's enought about me!! I look forward to getting to know you all!! I also look forward to sharing my photos with you and looking at all  your beautiful works!!

WELCOME TEGAN!!!!!![/b][/color]

Sure great to have you come in here!  Please do come to New Every Morning and tell everybody who, what, where, etc.  I'm with you on the hymns - I don't mind the contemporary, but I really am unhappy when the old hymns are just tossed out!  Thanks for coming, and may our God bless you abundantly!
