That bear's fur looks almost as though is has been groomed. What wonderful care God takes of all of his creatures. :)

Thanks Judy & Jeanne Lee. Yes, I did use my long lens, but he was still only about 50 ft away. I am pretty brave when I'm shooting from my truck! The bear was in great condition, and his coat and condition were beautiful! Perhaps the mild winter and early forage this spring contributed to this.
