Title: God's Wondrous Works
Post by: CapturedByGrace on November 23, 2009, 11:23:18 PM
Just sharing one of my fall images from this year.  Although this fall wasn't a great one this year for colors here in Colorado, I was definitely in the right place at the right time when I made this image.  This was taken near Telluride on Sept 30.  The aspens were exploding with color, and the underbrush was amazing as well.  Although it was cloudy and windy most of the time, that didn't dampen my spirits or passion in capturing God's beauty.  My sister and her fiance' were with me during this day trip out....we all just stood in the middle of the road here and stared in awe lol.  It's scenes like this that make me think of psalm 145:5 and am reminded of how awesome of a creator He is.
Note:  Web compression may be killing the detail in this image.  Although I shot this handheld, the original shows much much more detail than what is probably being displayed here.

I think the clouds add character to the photo. A cloudy day can boost the  color saturation in a photo. There's nothing like the aspens in the fall, sigh.

With a scene such as that I might sit for hours just gazing before even considering what's around that bend.
Not sure I could tear myself away from the sight. :)  Yep, such wondrous works.
