Posting for Chris...

Jesus said that we are salt, light, a beacon in other words for all the world to see,as He says, it is impossible for a city  to be hidden from view when it is set on a hill.


Many times we want to hide our light, from those who would mock us perhaps, with  hard words, from neighbours, friends who might think we are strange and keep us at a distance in future.

We do sometimes want to be part of the company.
But really we cannot hide what we are, what He has made us, for we are reborn, and we never want to go back to that which we were before.

If we try to hide our "Christian" life from people then we suffer, we become depressed, and feelings of guilt sweep over us.

For we are truly reborn to be salt and light in this dark world, salt halts corruption and light scatters darkness before it.

So do you see how we are to be like Jesus?

For those are the works He did, and will continue to do through us.

Lets trust Him to use us, at all times, and in all places, and not to hide our light under a bushell.

Beautiful Castle. I love these postcard you are sending to us, your borthers and sisters in the rest of the world. I stated to say in America, But I thiink North america is better aas it includes our Canadian friends.

Wow- this is almost as good as taking a vacation!
Lately it seems that I am traveling all over the world via the photographs of others.
