I love these buildings.  Nothing at all like this in U.S.  We are a country that doesn't preserve the old...we tear down and build new buildings and structures...be it churches, bridges, or other structures.  So sad.  There is so much history in these structures.

You're sure right about that, Etta Sue.  I was so distressed when they tore down the centerpiece of this town a few years back--the old hotel-- and now it's just an empty lot!  The roof needed replaced, but the building was sound, of brick, and could have been used for many beneficial things for the community.  Bah, humbug!!

That is certainly a beautiful structure, Chris!

I love the framing by the tree limbs in this photo. They act as a veil making the photo seem more mysterious and forbidden.
