 I took this picture a couple of months ago, but it's one of my favorites!

It was taken by just a simple point-and-shoot camera, so I'm a little surprised at how it came out! Hope you all like it!

A good picture, Carissa.  Looks like that bible is brand new - I hope it's starting to look worn already.   

 Oh, no! I've had that Bible for about 10 years, but don't worry! It is pretty worn! You can tell especially if you see the pages.

Good for you.  Remember the verse Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee.  The more you study God's word the better amunition you have against sin.

Great composition, Carissa. I love the way you positioned the lines. Your choice of background is just as clever. The richness of red in the picture makes the gold text stand out. By the way, I also use a point-and-shoot camera (Canon SX10)

Just in case, you may be interested to see what Photoshop can do with your already awesome shot, I took the liberty to process yor shot (with all the due respect). There is really no right or wrong in this illustration, just personal preference. Remember the old saying:
"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder."
