Title: Symbolic picture with room for interpretation
Post by: Lednam on September 08, 2004, 02:51:42 PM
This picture really speaks to me, and I hope to You. There is room for interpretation, the three crosses are obvious but after that ... what has happened ... who is in the front etc. Your interpretations are welcome!

What are the chances of coming across that scene on the beach!
Full of atmosphere.

I ran into this scenery this summer in Finnmark, north Norway. It´s actually scrap iron left from the World war II. Finnmark is Norway´s most northern county and was ockupied during the war. When the Germans withdrew from Finnmark in the autumn of 1944, they burnt almost everything down. Only a few communities were left intact.
