Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

OK.... So last month I went to this amazing conference called WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International), since I have started getting into weddings. I went to a lot of great workshops and one in particular that I really enjoyed was by and amazing photographer named Kevin Kubota..www.kkphoto-design.com. He had a lot of great photoshop actions to simiplify your weding and portrait workflow... Picked up a few of his sets of actions and production toolsets... Anyone use any of his stuff??

Also if you know of any other good PS actions I can get anywhere, let me know!!!

Pat

Sounds great Gregg!  I wish I had PS.  I use PSP for all my work.  Not sure if I'll be able to ever afford PS.

I'm interested though in seeing what other members have to offer you.

Not yet, but I soon will be. That's cool! Do any of those work in Elements?

Gregg

Nope... They work in Photoshop 7 and higher.

Hey Gregg, TXPhoto (Chris) here. There are an abundance of free or not so free PS actions. I have ones I use daily that i've either found or been given or created myself. They sure help speed things up. Kevin Kubota just taught at Texas School a week and a half ago, but I was in a different class. PS Actions are a lifesaver!

I, too, work with PSP...mostly X.  I have PhotoShop Elements 2 but haven't worked with it enough to even fathom what to do with it.  Just know that I can do something with PSP faster than what I see done in my Photography Guild and other things I can't do at all with PSP.  Grrrrr!

Just received a Bamboo for Christmas. There is a learning curve, especially since I have been using PS CS and CS2 for years and years and have gotten used to mouse control. But as time goes on I am glad I got it. Did my last wedding edit with the mouse. I don't use the mouse that came with the tablet. I use my existing one for navigating through the tools and settings. Then the stylus for the actual touchup. Great tutorial that comes with pad. Even though I prefer to make my adjustments before the shot, I still need the occasional blemish removal.
I think I am going to love this thing. Thanks Wacom. Is anybody else enjoying theirs?

I have Bamboo Fun...a pad, wireless mouse and stylus!  Love it!

I started my career designing websites 10 years ago so I'm more than proficient in PS.  The action set from Michael Andrew is a popular one, I use the lollipop action set intermittently but it definitely gets the job done and saves a lot of work.  You can find it here: http://bit.ly/8nhWSK

I should say I have no affiliation with the guy and the price is very high at $125 for the action set, but if you're doing this professionally the time you save will offset the cost.
