Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

We've learned from a phone call that our dear brother, Alan Moak, has been in the hospital for a week now.  He is very weak and when he is released from the hospital, he will be sent to a Nursing Home for rehabilitation.

We love our dear brother in the Lord and we ask that all of our members please pray for him that the Great Physician will heal him quickly and bring him back to health and strength.

Pat I just found your email.  I'll be praying for Al tonight.

Jane Walker

Just checking in and saw this announcement.  I am concerned about Al and will, most certainly pray more concertedly for his healing and complete recovery.  I am also concerned for Marbeth.   God keep them both in the very hollow of Your hand.   <3

My this is a shock but knew he hasn't been feeling well.  I will certainly keep Al in my thoughts and prayers and just as Jane indicated I will also remember Marbeth in my prayers.

Janet

I noticed Al hadn't been posting, but thought he was probably just busy.  I'm so sorry to read that he is sick, and have stopped and prayed for him and Marbeth before posting this.  May God raise him up quickly in fully restored health.

I am continually amazed at how dear to us our fellow posters on CP become, and how quickly!  Al actually called me a while back, and what a nice surprise that was!

When I was speaking to Marbeth last night she had a concern.   When he goes into a nursing home she hopes it is near to where they live otherwise she will have difficulty visiting him.  Lets pray also for this need.

Praying our Great Physician will restore Al to full health soon and give his wife and family wisdom regarding practical matters, and also give them daily evidences of His presence and guiding hand during this season.

Praying here for Al and Marbeth and will continue to pray for them.

There are no nursing homes very close to Marbeth and Al's home. Not in Mckinleyville or Arcata,  the nearest nursing homes are in Eureka about 17 miles from where they live. I  will call Marbeth  to see how he is doing. There is no charge for me to call them but I know their church family will see that Marbeth gets there. I will send a message to one of the members that is on Facebook just in case I can't reach Marbeth, Don Chin can bring me up to day on Al..

I just spoke to and prayed with Bro. Al, He said to tell you all thank you for the prayers and my god Bless you for your loving care toward him. He is in Room 124 at Mad River Hospital in Arcata Ca. the phone number there is 707-822-3621 if anyone  would like to call him.

He said his white cell count is too high, they haven't found out why yet but are giving him antibiotics, The Wound care Nurse had been there this morning to wrap his legs. He sounded a little bit down, it could be the medication. Marbeth was there with him.

Anthony

Dear Al, I got an email message to say that you have not been well.  I am glad that you know that God is faithful in the good times as well as during our difficult times.  Nevertheless everyone wants to assure you that you are being prayed for.  I trust that you will know the presence of God during these hard days, and this is what I will be praying for - "... if God be for us, who can be against us."

God bless you Al (and your family too).

Anthony.

Don

Haven't posted lately, been really busy.

Al you have not been forgotten, we are praying for you here in NC. I don't get so busy that I don't pray.

I see it's been a week since there was a update on Al, just wondering if he is at the same phone # as posted by Marilyn and how he is doing?

Lord, in thy precious Name, we ask that you continue to be near both Al and Marbeth. Draw them up close to Your breast, please, and give them comfort and peace, and should it be in Your will, may they be reunited, stronger and healthier than they've been for years, we pray. We remember in Your holy Word that You tell us, "I am the Lord who healeth thee." We're claiming this promise in the name of Jesus who died for each of us, Amen

I Spoke to Marbeth last night.  Al has been moved to St.Josephes Hospital in Eureka.  From what she said that is further away from where they live, but the Doctor who is dealing with a different problem wouldn't go to the hospital that he was in.

St Josephs Hospital, Room 1327  Perhaps Marilyn can get the phone number for us.

These are the things that need prayer,

1.  His Kidneys that they become infection free. This was the source of high white cell count and the back pain he was enduring, also as the infection has reduced, so has the swelling in his legs..

2.  Pray that his strength increase so that he can get around on his own, and is able to go home.

3.  He will need to go to a nursing home, that his stay there is short.

4.  He is diabetic, pray that they don't have too hard a time keeping him on diet.  It is hard to change habits as we get older...especially label reading!.

5.  Last but most important please keep praying.  Prayer does work.

Carol

Judy:  thanks so much for the update on Al and for the specific prayers such as infection free kidneys and strength.

On this beautiful Sunday morning, I will pray for our friend Al.

Jeanne Lee
