How can I ever thank you enough?  I have read every post here.  And as I read them tonight I thank God for such friends, all my brothers and sisters.  God bless you all.  As I lay down to sleep tonight it will be with another prayer of thanksgiving.  First I thank God for blessing us and I thank God for my church family where I worshipped this morning.  Beth took me for the early service and from there we went back to the hospital.  And I thank God for YOU who have been so faithful in prayer for Cornelia.  Tonight when I went in her new room in Special Care, a sstep down from Critical Care the nurse asked her, "Do you know who this is?  She reached out her hand and said, "He's mine."  I can thank God and praise Him for all he has done.

Ohhh, Papa John.  Now you have me crying.  I remember one night when I nearly lost Jack and we were in a critical care room and they asked Jack if he knew me.  He said, "Yes, she's mine and I love her!" and that was enough for me.   

How precious are these little times of realization that the Lord gives us.  I cherish them as I also cherish you.

I can't type more as my eyes are clouded over with my tears of thankfulness and joy that she's doing a little better and the memories that you have brought to me tonight of a wonderful time that I now remember with Jack.

May you feel the Lord's presence tonight as you go to sleep.

  Pappa John I wil be praying for you and your wife I just got home from being away for the weekend so keep your strength in Him as he will always look after you.  Gord.

I only saw the request today and I want you to know that I am praying for your wife and you too.  I'm very happy to see in your reply that she is doing a little better.  Same as Pat my eyes filled with tears when I read what she said to the nurse and I pray that she will be okay.

Papa John, such good news.  I pray that Cornelia's condition continues to improve and that her surgery goes well.

Thank God for this improvement and I am praying for a speedy recovery for your wife.

Papa John, certainly a special moment and very touching.  So glad to hear that Cornelia has been able to be moved out of critical care.  They have wonderful monitoring devices now to keep track of our hearts.  We are fortunate to be living in these times.  Take care of yourself my friend.  We continue to pray for you both.

I have just heard the news about Cornelia and myself and Sheila pray that she makes a speedy recovery.  Sheila's sister has just also gone through the same ordeal praise be to God she is leaving hospital today.  Yes we are fortunate to be living in the times where help is at hand in the field of medical care.

Also in the times that you know others are praying to help you through this ordeal.

I pray that all news will be good news.

Papa John, I believe that I'm the last one to post.  I only read about this just now as I opened my mail for the 1st time in quite a while.  Your marriage past the half-century mark is such a blessing and encouragement to all and when she recognized you....Oh! what a miracle.  I will be praying for both of you as you continue going through this valley.  Isn't it wonderful to be a Christian and know that our LORD is there with you both.  God bless you two.

Father, thank You for giving Papa John and Cornelia these times and that relationship!  It makes plain to both of them how gracious You have been to give them each other.  And, Father, I ask that You continue to grant improvement, and, more than that, a full and blessed sense of Your love and Presence through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I have been away from CP with my whole "slew" of problems but when I read about your dear sweetie, my heart just ached.

Know that you and your wife/and family are in my prayers.

I am sad today to know of this troubles Papa John.  With all my heart you are both in my heart and in my every prayers.  I love you both very much.

Alice ~ Hi, there.  I just was looking at a photo of Papa John and Cornelia on SrNet.  Cornelia has had a time of it but looks like she is being well cared for by all. 

Come back more often.  We miss you here!
