Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Hi Bob,
I will add you to my prayers.  The devil is a liar!  You have gotten this far, and Jesus has gotten you through this and will stay right by your side!  You have run the race and you're going to win it!
Father God,
We thank you for seeing Bob through his treatments and giving him your strength.  Please continue to put your healing touch upon him.  Let these chemo treatments wipe out all that cancer so that the next time it's time for tests, they will show NONE, and the doctors will be astonished.  We believe and declare his healing in the name of Jesus.  Restore his health unto you, O God.  In Jesus' name. Amen.

Hi all,
Just wanted to update you all on the latest. My chemo last monday was postponed until monday March 9th. They want me to get a CT scan first to determine if the chemo I'm getting is working. If it is, then they will proceed with my 3rd session that day. If not I guess they will revise their formulation. I finally got my cast off yesterday and now have to work on getting my wrist to move normal again. My 3 weeks  off from chemo has given me time to gain some weight back and feel alot better. Please know that you all are in my prayers and my wife's prayers every day. I know that whatever the outcome of the CT scan it is all part of Gods plan for me.

My Humble Thanks,  <3
Bob Traber

Don

Thanks for the update.  Strength and peace to you and your wife.

Bob, I am new here.
I am so sorry to hear that you have cancer. Cancer is some bad stuff. I am praying for you. God is with you - trust and lean on Him. No one knows what you and your family are going through unless they have been through it. I am a nurse in ICU and we get cancer patients. It is so hard on the patients and their families. Hang in there.
Remember - God will not put more on you than you can bear.
Smile often. Smile for your wife. Smile and laugh for yourself. Laughter can be a soul healer.

Bob, thanks so much for the update.

We're continuing to pray for you.  We ate supper in a restaurant in Winchester, VA tonight and you were in our prayers during the "Grace" before our meal.

Lois, hugs to you, dear lady.  We will remember you as well.

Hi all,
Just wanted to share some good news with you. I had a CT scan before my third chemo session Monday. They wanted to see if after 2 sessions the chemo was doing any good. The results were Good. The larger of my tumors they believe had stopped growing and the rest of the smaller tumors had definetly begun to shrink.
This was the best news I could have received. Your prayers and Gods love continue to sustain me.
My humble thanks,
                          Bob Traber <3

Way to go Bob, It's good to hear that.

Hi again,
I wanted to update you all since my last Anniversary post April 10th.
The "rough patch" I mentioned got a whole lot rougher. Large weight loss, no appetite, so no strength. My oncologist brought me in immediately April 17h for labs and a CT scan. She was concerned that the cancer had spread. The labs showed nothing bad – just a low immune system – which is due to the chemo cocktail. I had to wait until Monday April 19th for the results. I must admit I was resigned to the fact that GOD"S  plan may not be what I wanted to hear. The phone call came 9:30am  and my oncology nurse's words were  "Mr Traber your CT scan results were amazing no new chemo and your existing tumors have shrunk dramatically" . WOW what news !  Conclusion was my chemo cocktail dosage will need to be adjusted slightly. I had a bad reaction but the chemo is working too well to stop now. They will manage my side effects.
I believe every day is a gift and I thank God every day!
God bless you all,
Bob Traber <3
