Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Bob, as a cancer survivor, I am pleased to hear from you.  You are in my prayers daily, as is your wife.  It is hard on all.

I've thought about you several times this past week. Thanks to our loving Heavenly Rather for His good works in your life, for guiding those who work with you medically, and for your good wife who is such a help to you. May you continue to be completely accepting of His will for your life.

You are such a blessing to so many of us!
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Pat,
I just viewed all the bird photos. They are all great pictures. Hard to pick only 5. I haven't spent much time on site but that is changing as I am able to sit at the computer for a longer time. Bird photo's are some of my favorites.

Pat

That's wonderful, Bob.  I thought I remembered you saying that before so thought you'd enjoy seeing the birds.

Thanks for voting too!

Hi all,
I thought it was about time I updated you all as to what is happening.
The months of May, June have been bad ones. The "side efects" of my chemo were not as manageable as they had hoped. My weight and strength were "tanking". The irony of this is that one of the chemo drugs ( irinotecan) was doing what they wanted it to do ie shrinking the tumors. The irony is that the irinotecan was causing severe side effects. They finally took me off irinotecan. They said the side effects would be fatal before the tumors were shrunk enough to stop the chemo sessions. They did a CT scan and said the tumors were stable ie not growing. I am presently on a chemo drug that they hope will just keep the tumors stable. As of the first of July my side effects are subsiding, my strength is slowly returning and I can venture outside the house - even go to the store with my wife. I just thank God for each day I am blessed with. I start each day and end each day by thanking God for all the blessings in my life. So I will never have a bad day.
God bless you all,
Bob Traber  <3

Thank you for the update Bob.  I have been praying, for the doctors to have wisdom in your treatment. And for you to have the strength to go through what is necessary.  I am continuing to pray.

Jane Walker

I, too, am praying Bob ... It's a tough road to travel but remember you don't have to go it alone.  You know the song "You'll Never Walk Alone"
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Father, I pray for Bob.  I pray You'll particularly make him aware of Your Grace and Love and of Your presence and power.  Oh enable him to instantly and always call upon You, and move him to continue to praise You and  thank You.  Thank You, Father, for making him able to praise and thank You thus far.  Oh just make him more and more aware of Your Godhood, sovereignty perfect will and wisdon.  Oh make him know, Lord Jesus, that You are there with him.

Don

I second Judy's Amen

I am continuing to pray also Bob.

Thank you Bob for letting us know.  I've been wondering how you have been and Lois too.  Please know that I'll be continuing to pray for you in the coming days.  Please try to let us know how you're doing.  Maybe Lois would post for you if you don't feel like it.

I will add my "Amen" to Al's prayer too!

Bob, This is my first time to write you and I want to tell you that I just said a prayer for you and your wife.  Take care.   Carol

Bob, you have certainly been walking through a deep valley these last weeks and months but it sounds like you are headed out of that valley now.  I pray that God will give you continued improvement and more strength day-by-day.  Glad you are feeling up to posting. I also add my Amen to Al's prayer.

Marilyn

I will say amen to Al's prayer too, and I am also praying for you, Lois and you doctors.

It is a privilege to lift you up to our father.  God bless you brother.
I'm sold out and committed to go all the way with Jesus.  He is my lord, and savior, and I love him because he first loved me.  The more I look to him, the more deeply I fall in love with him.  He has done marvelous things in me, and through me. I'm awesomely created in HIS image, and I'm filled with his spirit.  It's Christ in me, the hope of glory.  I'm a warrior, a victorious warrior, coming against powers and principalities and wickedness in high places. God has given us ALL things that pertain unto righteousness....hallelujah!  He's worthy to be praised, and worshiped and adored.

Pat

I'm wondering how Bob is doing.

Hopefully, either Bob or Lois will come and let us know.  Paul and I prayed for both of you last night, Bob.

Hi all,
Your love and prayers always overwhelms me. I'm so grateful!!! I am doing great. Since they took me off of the "bad" chemo drug I have steadily improved. My strength is returning, I can eat most things now with only the normal side efects (ie. hot and spicy food etc.) I am actually gaining a little weight. This is a big deal for me as I am still down about 30 pounds from my normal weight. The "bad" chemo took every hair on my body - even my eyebrows and eyelashes fell out. It's all growing back. I know my tumors are still there but as long as they are not growing I will be able to stay on the "soft" chemo every other week. I will probably have another CT scan at the end of August. Then I will know for sure. My wife is a 6 year breast cancer survivor - her mamogram is coming up next thursday - so we are anxious for her results also. So.. Lois and I are doing great. God continues to bless us every day. We are so grateful to God for every day we are blessed with. Your prayers are so much appreciated and are the reason our cup truley "runneth over"

In His Care,
                  Love,

Mercy = freedom from merited disfavor

Praise God for both.  Father, thank You for what You are doing in Bob and Lois's lives.  I pray You'll show Your powerful hand and Your beautiful love through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jeanne Lee

Bob, Al always puts it so beautifully I'm reluctant to add anything.  I pray that whatever our Heavenly Father allows to come your way you and Lois will always know and feel His presence and His peace.

Just a quick note about my wifes mamogram on Thursday. She was given a good report - no sign of cancer - so she now is a 7 year breast cancer survivor.
God and Jesus have again answered my prayers. I will thank God and Jesus Christ every day of my life !!!

Bob, thank you for that report.  She is blessed.

I go Monday for an MRI and at present am less than a month away from my 5 year survivor mark as a breast cancer survivor.  Hearing success stories is so good for me.
