There is a young mum and her Canadian husband who runs Blackburn's Salvation Army, where Margery and sometimes me go for lunch, and Margery stops for the afternoons friendship club. This couple have two teenage children, boy and girl, their son Adam is fourteen years old and is suffering from lung cancer, Margery told me about this, and it hadn't occured to me until now to post this message, that he could sure use some prayer from us lot for his complete and utter healing from his condition.

Oh Father, I pray simply that You'll heal this young fellow, and that You'll use it to bring them all to Yourself.  Oh get praise, Lord!

Ohhh, Michael, I'm so sorry to read this. 

Please know that I'll be praying for this young lad.

It's funny how you miss the obvious, a young Christian lad ill with cancer and a good group of Christians with the power of prayer, and somehow you miss the linkup, until now of course, bring him before the Lord, now and through Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour, lets ask for Adam a total and miraculous healing, Amen.

I simply lift up my prayers along with these others, for young Adam and his family.  They need you, Lord.

I,m really sorry to hear this. Adam and his family will be added to my prayer list also.

Right now here's the situation, Adam has had this cancer for a while now he is having Chemo therapy, which is making him physically sick, but here's the good news, the tumour has been reduced to half its size, the doctors are going to give him some more tests, and maybe change the treatment, as they don't know yet if the tumour is dead. So prayer support yet. I found all this out when I went to the salvation army for lunch, told Penny his mum Adam's condition is on the internet, and there's a great gang, bringing him before the Lord in prayer, Penny says thanks for your prayers, and its good to know complete strangers are concerned for the whole family, thanks.

So happy you told, Penny, Michael.  Keep us posted and we'll keep praying for the lad.

Oh Father,
I lift up this young man to you and prayerfully and faithfully ask you to put your healing touch upon him and get him through the treatments without complications or pain.  We anticipate his healing in Jesus' name, and praise you for your healing power.  Bring this family close to you through this, Father and put your peace that surpasses all understanding in their hearts.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Praying Michael, It would be good if Penny could come onto CP, and be encouraged. 

That would be a good idea, when I can ever get down there to see them.

I have been away from this site for a while. I will certainly pray that our Lord will set this young man on a healing path and his healing will be complete.
