I thought that it is time that I  fill you all in on something I'm going through at the moment...

I'm trying to get my Mum over to the States to visit us.. (she lives in Australia) this is the 4th year I've tried to ask her.....and it's getting hard and harder to deal with her answer.. "No"...

It's really making me depressed

My request is...

Please help me deal with the pain of miss my Mum,
Help me to be understanding and patient with her,
and if it be the Lord's will get her over here for a visit.

Father, I lift Hayley to You today.  I pray that she will have the words to convince her Mum how much she loves and misses her, how much the grandchildren want to get to know her personally, and that they really want her to come.  If her Mum has a fear of flying or other concerns that are keeping her from coming, I ask that you take those fears and concerns away and replace them with faith and trust.  Please place in this mother's heart such a love and longing to be with her daughter and her family that she cannot get away from it, that she just must come to visit!

Please give Hayley a peace about this matter, and help her roll the care of it over onto You, for you care for her.  In the name of our loving Saviour Jesus, amen.

Dear Father,
I come to you in the name of Jesus, Lord I am lifting up Hayleys mom to you, Lord and I ask you to give her the strength to come this distance to be with her daughter and family.  Lord give her peace and desire to make the trip. I Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers. ~AMEN

I agree with these prayers, Father ... You can bring this mother and daughter together with such excitement and love that they'll wonder what kept them apart for so long.

I understand, Hayley.  Only it's the opposite for me:  My daughters are a distance from me and I seldom see them.  I feel, sometimes, that my grandchildren have forgotten that I exist and their children (my great grandchildren) don't even know me.  God understands too, though, and He is with us ... and them ... and He loves us all!

I am in agreement Lord with all these prayers here. I understand Hayleys heart Lord, and I know you will grant her request. father i join the others here to bombard heaven with our prayers, and I know that the fervant prayers of the righteous availeth much.  I pray oh Lord that Hayley's Mother will soon agree to come for a visit with such a loving and Godly daughter of God. thank you so much for lifting this situation up in prayer.. it's made me cry and smile at the same time.......

all the prayers are absolutely beautiful and I will let you all know how things go if I hear of any changes...

As you know, my dear Hayley, I'm praying along with the rest regarding this situation.

I lived in Northern Ireland with two wee ones and it was so good when my mother came over.  I was so homesick for her.

Hello Hayley,

I join hands in prayer with others on here for you to see your dear mother...soon.

I still have a son living at home but my daughter and grandsons live further away now and I miss them so much., even though Helen does get over to visit about twice a month. Gosh, I don't know how I would feel if she was as far away as you are from your Mum. I still weep and feel the loss as we did live nearer a few years ago and I saw her every day and my 2 eldest grandsons when they started school would call at mine on the way there.

Oh Hayley:  I can understand just how lonesome you must be for your Mother.  Gosh., what I wouldn't give if my daughter  was in your situation, and wanted me to visit as much as you are asking.   I'd be over in a flash!!

I'll keep praying...Keep us posted, honey.

I wonder if Hayley's Mom ever got to the States.  I pray for her and wonder about this.  Has anyone heard from Hayley?
