JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

My Family In Need

I've just received a call from my son, George, in Arizona and he and his family are in need of prayer.

His wife, Irene,  has been diagnosed with colon cancer which has also spread to the lymph nodes.  She will be in chemo three days a week for the next six months, as I understand it, and the survival rate from this treatment at this stage is approximately 85%.

In addition, my grandson, William, was injured in Afghanistan over a year ago and has since then been in continual sever pain.  Now, as a side effect of the pain medications his liver is showing some damage and the constant pain is affecting his short term memory as well.

Please be in prayer for this family, and for my son's salvation as well.  Irene and William seem to have found the Lord in recent months, but George is still resisting - he says "maybe someday..."

Our God isn't moved by the numbers of those praying, but He is merciful and gracious to each one.  I've prayed for Irene and for George.

Jeanne, I will be praying for this family.  Their spiritual healing is even more urgent than their physical healing; but our merciful God is ever willing and eager to give both.  (((((hugs)))))

I'm praying, Jeanne ... How well I know the concerns accompanying such diagnoses and the stress involved ... for all involved.  More importantly, though, our Father knows and He cares and we can trust Him to do all things well .....  <3

Thank you Jane.  I have had to leave everything in our Father's hands since there's no way I can be there physically to help at all.  :(

I know that "helpless" feeling, too.  I pray our Father will keep you calm and strong, in heart and mind, while you rest secure in His arms.   <3

Jeanne, I will also be praying for your family as they are facing high hurdles related to health issues.  I hope you can find peace in knowing that God is working in the lives of these loved ones.

I'll make sure to pray for them, Jeanne.

Marilyn

I will be praying too Jeanne, with God all things are possible.

You have my prayers coming your way.

I, too, know the feel of desparation when you feel so helpless.

Praise the Lord for HIS love and grace to all believers.

Could not go on without knowing HE has us "in the palm of HIS hand".....
