Dear friends,

Please pray for our family.  My father-in-law has lost his second wife, to cancer, in 9 years.  She passed away late last night.  She was such a wonderful, Godly woman.  She was a witness for the Lord everywhere she went.  We have lost a lovely lovely woman and family member.  She took us in and loved us as her own just three months after we lost my mother-in-law.  What an unexpected blessing she has been in our lives and especially to our children who had already lost their auntie and grandfather.

Ohhh, Kathleen!  I'm so saddened to read this.  But what a blessing it is to know that she's been promoted to Glory with our wonderful Savior who she is now worshiping at His feet! 

Yes, it's sad to lose one so loved and my prayers will be for your family in the coming days.

Oh Father, You are so wonderful, and for this reason we know that You can bring something great and good even out of this sad event.  We pray You'll do so through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Kathleen I am praying for peace for the entire family and that His name will be glorified!

Thank you all for your loving prayers.  We returned home from Socal and the memorial service just after midnight this morning.  The service was wonderful and shared the gospel and glorified God; which is what she would have wanted.  We had a safe flight both ways and I am very thankful for your prayers. 

Please continue to pray for my father-in-law, especially as the family leaves and he finds himself alone again.  Also, please pray for travel mercies for those still there and flying or driving home this week.  My husband and I will be traveling again soon, too.  We'll be driving this time.
