Hi everyone. I had a bad fall yesterday morning. Slipped on some black ice while making my way to a client's home. Sprained my right wrist badly enough that my doctor thought it necessary to put it in a cast.  Will wear it for at least 3 weeks. He said it was best to do it now, since waiting to do so would mean a much longer use of the cast...as in months.

Please pray for a speedy recovery.

Father, I do pray for Strollin that You'll speed the recovery and make it complete.  And Oh, Father, grant that in some special way this may all draw her closer to You and reveal Your blessings more fully.  Through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Strollin, I'm praying for your quick recovery.  I broke my right wrist a few years back and remember the frustration of having the cast limit what I cold do with that hand.

So sorry to hear, Bonnie.  That is painful, I know.
Father God, please keep Bonnie in your safe grip and put your healing upon her for a quick, painless and complication free recovery.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Yes He is!!!

Forgot to give an update last week.

Had my wrist and arm xrayed again last Thursday, and it turns out that my wrist is simply badly bruised, but my radius bone is cracked. Will wear this new cast for about a month, then get physio. Back to work on light duty soon after that.

I am reading a book by Kay Arthur. "Lord, Heal My Hurts." Though this was given to me by someone a long time ago, I remembered how the truths in it had touched me then, and the walk through the Book of Jeremiah has been both educational and encouraging.
