I've only been a member a few days here but I felt led to come here and post this prayer request.

My daughter has been sick so much since her gallbladder was removed a year ago. She contracted salmonella (there were numerous cases here) and wasn't diagnosed for almost 4 weeks. Her health hasn't been good since both those things.

Tomorrow she goes in for a CT scan of her abdomen ... they are looking for an anneurism, which is very serious.

Several years ago, just two days before I was to join my husband in Germany for a 3 year assignment, I ended up in the emergency room with the same diagnosis. My daughter immediately contacted one of our ministers and prayers were immediately sent up. As they prepped me for surgery and my daughter called my husband in Germany, God was at work. Because this is such a rare occurence, the hospital staff asked if I minded if a few doctors and nurses could come and observe the symptoms while they stuck IVs in me. They came and as they began the exam to listen with a stethoscope, one by one puzzled looks surrounded my bed. It was gone!!! I have no doubt God worked a miracle that night and my daughter was quick to tell the medical staff that God had healed me.

I'm praying for the same thing and that God will grant Samantha peace during this ordeal and bring to her memory what He did for me.

I'm praising God for what He is going to do.

Dearest Jesus send your healing power into Samanatha's body right now, Lord you know her body better than anyone for you created her, I pray Lord God that you touch each and every cell in her body cleanse it from all infirmity and bring new healthy tissue where it may be damaged. Your word tell us that by your stripes we WERE healed and that means we are still the healed children of the living god. In Jesus name. Amen

My daughter was told if there was something that needed immediate attention, they'd call her today.  No call.  Praise the Lord.

She had other lab work done and while it might be serious, the urgency has diminished a bit.  We'll wait and see what the doctor says after reviewing all the tests.

Her emotional state is so much better and I just know it's because of your prayers.

Lord Jesus you are the Mighty and Only Physician. You formed this special patient of yours in her mother's womb and you have knitted her together with Your very hands. You know the situation and you know her heart. I pray though our faith in You Heavenly Jesus and through our Love for You Oh God that You would manifest Yourself in this situation just as You did with her mother. All praise and Glory will go unto you just as before and we will shout it from the moutain top. Go before the doctors and nurses and have Your annoiting upon them in a way that as they depart after the miracle You perform they will themselves give You all the glory and come to know You more than they do now. I ask all this in Your name Jesus the name above every name. Amen.

Francine: what's the latest ?
