Please pray for one of our childrens marriage...things are not going well.   

I know that God honors unspoken request by the body.....so all of the details are not necessary.

I'm praying, Fast Eddie.  Somehow we are always concerned for our childrens' happiness ... God knows, and He will answer.

Father, You and You alone know all the corners and cobwebs of our hearts.  I pray for Ed's request - for this child who is dear to him.  I pray that You will move by Your Spirit in all those corners, and that You will clear those cobwebs.  I pray that You'll particularly move both of them to see that obedience to Your Word is the number one priority.  Help them, by Your Word, to find answers and solutions in love and forgiveness.  Oh grant them Your wonderful grace for their marriage, Father, through Jesus our Lord.

Amen to Pastor Al's prayer Lord.

Father, I lift up this couple to You.  Please send laborers across their paths to minister truth in love to their hearts.  Cause them to remember all the good they saw in each other when they married.  By Your Holy Spirit, do the work needed in their hearts, bringing understanding and forgiveness, and healing all the hurts.  Please set a guard before their mouths that they will not hurt each other with their words.  Thank you for intervening in this, dear Father.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Eddie:  I am praying for this family.

Fast Eddie, my heart breaks for you as you watch the pain of your children. I'll be praying for y'all.

Ed - how are things going with the family we are praying for?

Our daughter's husband said he was only staying on the marriage for the sake of the children.  We had a family gathering this weekend daughter seemed happy on outside but is not really.

She is thinking about asking him to leave...there are things that he is doing that she doesn't want her children to see or find him doing..... 

I said more than I intended already, but will leave it posted.

I thank you all for your prayers and I know that our Father hears them....He is just as concerned as I am.

Al,  I especially thank you for your prayer concerning "cobwebs"  they have a way of blinding our thoughts.

Janet, we are also praying that God will place someone in his path to speak the right words to him to cause him to turn to God.  I personally know that a GREAT healing can take place...my wife told me that she didn't care what I did before I became a Christian...now was all that mattered.

Jane, we are concerned for our childrens happiness.  I used to think that if I could just get them through school, a good job and a great spouse....our troubles would be over......well they aren't.

Judy Ruth Larry Marilyn Jenny:  thank you for your prayers and concerns...we continue to trust in God and know that whatever happens he is still in charge.......

Thanks so much, Ed.  We'll continue to pray for you and the whole family circle.

I can really feel for you, Eddie, as you hurt for your children and for the sanctity of their marriage.   If all couples would put Christ at the center of their marriage, then problems could be brought before the throne of grace.  However, that is not the case and it is up to those of us who know just how important to keep on lifting them up in prayer. 

I'm still remembering your request, Fast Eddie.

My daughter has told her husband to leave by April 1.  He is doing the same thing again after he promised not to.

We have been praying for him, that he would come to know the Lord and that the marriage would survive.  It can still happen before April 1.

She still cares for him, but he not the same person she married....he has changed.

Eddie, my heart goes out to all of you.  I know how heartbreaking these situations are, and will continue to lift your daughter and her family up in prayer.  This husband needs deliverance!

Eddie: I am so sorry to hear that this behavior has continued to plague your daughter's marriage. I will  renew my prayers for God to change this man's heart and make him realize that his behavoir not only effects him but his wife an his children also.  I have an idea what the problem is but I will not make any assumptions and just let God  handle it in His own way. I pray for your daughter's peace of mind.In Jesus Name.

           God bless you for the interest you are taking for this son-in-law!

My daughter had asked her husband to leave, but he refused and told her to leave if she wanted to.  She stayed.

They have been talking about their relationship and while they are talking there is still hope.  So we just let it go and trust the Lord to work His work in his life.

I agree, Eddie, that as long as there is communication, there is hope.  I pray the Holy Spirit will convict his heart, and that the marriage will become stronger than ever, so the children can grow up with both their parents.  God bless.

Eddie:  There is still time....not a lot., but the Lord knows, and I continue to pray.
