Hi everyone. I am asking for prayer for the family of one of my clients.  The son, Jim, and his wife, Cheryl, just had their first child, a beautiful little girl.  Don't know her name, but do know she was rushed to McMaster Medical Centre, due to a problem discovered when she was born in our local hospital. Apparently she was deemed "critical one" when she was assessed by the trauma team who came to take her to McMaster.

The last few months of her pregnancy had been difficult for the mother.

Please pray for God's presence to be felt by all concerned - the paternal granparents are both strong Christians and the son was raised in the church.

With the paternal grandparents both having health concerns of their own, this is a very trying time for all concerned.

I won't have an update for at least a few days, unless I hear from my client's wife.

Will be praying for this family, that they let this trauma draw them closer to the Lord.

Thank you Ruth and Judy.  I, too, am praying for the young couple's return to church and a personal relationship with Jesus. 

This may well be what God uses to bring them to their knees.

Bonnie, I too am praying for this innocent little baby and for the family that they might be drawn to our Heavenly Father for the peace and comfort only He can offer.

One detail I forgot to include in my original post is that the mother of the baby is in her late 30s, and in great physical shape.

I spoke with the grandmother yesterday, and Riley should be home tomorrow. The doctors removed all tubes, and she is doing much better than originally expected.

Praises be to GOD!

This outcome truly shows the power of prayer. When she was sent to McMaster, it was with a dire diagnosis. The Lord has worked wonders, with a lot of help from the prayers of friends, family, and strangers too.

Our God is an Awesome God!!!   

Yes   HE reigns from heaven above!
