Lois is 84 years old and goes to my church. She has been having problems with her heart and has been feeling very low, tired and unable to walk but a few steps at a time, out of breath etc. Upon going to the ER they turned up her pacemaker from 60 BPM to 70 BPM.

Then she went to her heart doctor and he turned it back down, telling her that he wanted her heart to do some of the work. She was told she needed open heart surgery but that she is too old for the surgery.

She says she doesn't want the open heart surgery anyway and is ready to meet her Lord is He calls her home.

Please pray for Lois however the Lord leads you.

Marilyn, from what I have read about open heart surgery she is definitely too old to be considered for a heart transplant.  I pray that they will find other ways to treat her so she will be more comfortable.

I am praying for Lois.

Father, I too pray for Lois.  Oh give her abundant confidence in Jesus Christ!  Grant, Father, that she will be thoroughly ready to leave this life and come to You.  Then, Father, give her grace to live here in this world for as long as is pleasing to you - as an example of faith and life eternal.

Marilyn:  Dear saints like Lois, are so special to the church family.  I will be praying for her.
