JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Wow, this has been quite the summer for us.  It has been awhile since I posted or even visited this site, but I know that a few of you know who Zachery is and what his condition is...so I wanted to let everyone know how he is doing.

To bring others up to date:
Zachery has had crohns and ulcerated colitis for about 8 years now.  He has been on constant medication most of those years but this past year I chose to take him off the meds because his body wasn't getting any better.  I changed his diet and put him on baby food.  He did get better until we started introducing other foods to him.  It has been a long year trying to find what he could and could not eat but come to find out.....
4 years ago I asked them to do some test to find out if he was allergic to wheat and milk products and they said the test come out negative, but when we hired a nutritionist, she was going through all his paper work and found that the test was actually positive.  This whole time we were killing him when we thought we were helping him.

Praise God for this nutritionist who found this!  The doctors said that if things wouldn't have changed he would have died in two months of starvation.  He is down to 87lbs and is close to 5' 7" tall at the young age of 16.  He is a walking skeleton..just skin and bones.
He has been so depressed because of all the pain that he wanted to just give up.

Being a week on this new diet (gluten free) has made him a happier guy.  He isn't by any means better but he sure is on the road to a quick recovery.
They don't have him on any medications that they did before which is good.  He is on iron, B12, hehe gummy bear vits. and pentasa.  That is all he needs the nutritionist said.

Just goes to show that doctors don't know it all.  Good to get an opinion from every
direction.
Thanks for the prayers and the ear.

Love you all

Fantastic, Soni .... I'm so glad y'all have found an answer.  I'm sure Zach is especially glad.  God is GOOD -- All the time!
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Soni,  I certainly do remember Zachery and this sounds like really good news.  It is not hard to understand how difficult this must have been for him.  I sure hope this is the key to his total recovery.  Thanks for sharing this news with us.  Also glad to hear from you.  How are your girls?  Are you all still dancing?

Thank You, Father, for Your gracious and merciful dealing with Zachary.  I pray You'll keep him improving and make him totally well through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Soni it is indeed good new on Zach. Thank God that you found that nutritionist she was sent by God to help Zachery.

Soni, that is such good news.  I can't believe they misread the test results.  And thank God for the nutritionist that reviewed his files.

I'd love to hear how he is doing with the new wheat free diet.  You know, I'd never put Zach's case together with a book I've read called The Maker's Diet.    Have you heard of it?  I think he may have had something like Zach has.  Anyway he was down to skin and bones when he gave up on doctors and did his own research.  It's a good book.

Thank you for coming to share this good news.  It's a Praise God post for sure. :)
