Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Just beautiful, Jane.  and you are right.....no way does Dot look like she is a grandmother!  I hope she is away from that unhappy marriage now, and that the depression has left her.

This trip was very therapeutic for all of you I bet.

Thanks, Sue and Judy ... Yes, this was a real blessed time for all of us.  I started to drag a bit once we got to the triple digit heat in California and all the running around to try and fit everyone into just a few days.  :-[ Joy says she isn't going to do that again.  She has many friends in California and they each wanted a piece of her time.  She says they can come to Mexico to visit "next time" where they will be more relaxed and can enjoy the visit.

Hey MOM thanks for showing off our trip!  And when I said I wouldn't do this again -- I think I really meant that I wouldn't go through the hassle of trying to see every person in California that I know.  I do plan to have a second annual family reunion with you and Dot!  Perhaps we can make it "same time, same place"  next year?  We'll be talking -- I love you....Joy

Jane Walker

Hi JOY!!  I knew that's what you meant.  I guess I just didn't express it properly.   :-[

I'm glad you're signed on here and that you will be sharing your photos soon.  I hope you have been able to access the photos of Janet's dives.  They're awesome.

This is a portion of the Italian Garden, in Butchart Gardens.

This is a Northwest Native American museum/art gallery and shop in Sequim, Washington.  We had an interesting time there.

Nice photo's Jane!  I am glad that you enjoyed the visit and hope that you folks will come again.  Next time we will definately get together and you can come to the valley and see how lovely it is....I am going to put in some pictures that I posted on another site.  Yes, lots of the people live on the houseboats.  They have a hard time with people wanting them gone...... >:(

Thanks, LIZ  :)  I would love to come to your valley "next time" ... Did you read Joy's post above?  It just might happen again!

We stayed one night in Seattle.  It was an old hotel that had been renovated.  The piano from the original "piano bar and lounge" was in the lobby.  We had to pose there, y'know.

Then ... Ta Daaaa ... Guess who had to play it?  <just kidding, of course!>

Joy and I eventually made it to Sacramento, California and enjoyed time with her son, Bryan.  One day we had lunch with his cousins and, afterward, they were into their old "discussion" that has been going on for nearly 19 years.

Tricia is older by 4 months and has held onto that point of prestige.  Since they were very young, Tricia would say "I'm older than you are" and Bryan would respond "But I'm taller than you." ... still going on...and on...and on...

Bryan loves his Mom ... as if you couldn't tell.  :D

Let's wrap it all up with a beautiful sunset ... Joy took this photo our first night in Washington.

MOM those are great pictures.....except that they show how much wait I need to lose.....Where is the dieter's corner of this community?  :-[

Hopefully next time we "do this" we will relax and unpack.....stay a bit longer in one place to fully enjoy the area and each other -- if you want!

Jane and Joy, looking at these pictures gives me the "warm fuzzies."  I am so glad you had this time together.  Families are forever, and we need to keep those connections strong.  (I am talking to ME here.  I am more than willing, but some people in my family are not........ :'()

Janet I know what you mean ... and I pray you, too, will know the joy of reconciliation.  There are still family members for us that are reticent about being "family" ... but God knows our hearts and He will bring all things into alignment as He wills .. It will happen for you too ... In His time!
