JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I wish I had my camera already! The moon this morning was just gorgeous, and all I could think of was "it's a promise moon, God is good!"

I couldn't help but notice. I walked outside, meaning to go start the car to take the kids to school, and that moon took my breath away.

Today is going to be tough, with a number of things to do that I just do NOT want to do, but it's okay. Seems small in the big picture, as most things we worry about are!

God definitely uses natural means to communicate with his creation! That was simply wonderful, and something I won't forget for a long time.

I believe we're heading into a scary but exciting time in this world. As Christians, we have a reason to hope. I will be eternally (literally eternally!) grateful for that hope, and strive to keep up my faith that God works all things for good.

It's a time we need to be encouraging others, forgetting pettiness and doing our best to encourage and uphold other believers.

Spent a bit of time in prayer this morning, and know it's time to hold on tight to our God, following his direction no matter what, and doing our best to lift others up and not let them fall.
The world is very fair to see
The artist will not let it be
He fiddles with the works of God
And makes them look uncommon odd!

You're so right, RS, but may we be more than a little aware also that it is our God Who is holding on tight - to us!

Certainly agree with you when you say, "I believe we're heading into a scary but exciting time in this world." If you want a clear view of God's purposes, its a good idea to keep focussed on Him, so easy to loose sight of the fact that Jesus through His Spirit promised never to leave or forsake us, lets all as His children hold on to daddy's hand a little tighter, and hide under the shadow of His wings.

With a government here in England, trying to bring in the mark of the beast through microchipping, promote what God calls abomination, and make criminals and terrorists out us all, as well as making it a criminal offence to quote scripture from the Bible. We certainly need a sense of God's enduring presence.
