JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

MARILYN

I was born again in November 1997. I had been in a deep depression for almost 1 year and I didn't care if I lived or died. I was surfing through the channels on the television when I landed on the Trinity Brodcasting Network. There was a funny preacher talking about his trip to heaven. At the end of the program he gave an altar call and I prayed along with him.

He said I should go tell someone I got saved. The next day I went to the nearest church and told them my story. They invited me to attend church and I went the following Sunday and they gave me a Bible.

I began to devour the word of God. I had an insatiable desire to read the Bible. My life was radically changed from that moment on. You see I had been going to church off and on all my life and no one had ever told me that I had to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

My life was a mess. I had been married 5 times to abusive men and involved in drug and alcohol abuse off and on during my adult life. I didn't like myself very much and had no self esteem. My 4 older children had been removed from my custody because of my drug use and the abusive man in my life at that time.

In 1972 my youngest son was born and he became my lifeline--the only stable thing in my life. We had it pretty rough due to the men and my drug use off and on but praise God that I got saved and cleaned up my act. I realize now that God had his hand on me all those years or I would not be here to tell you my story. I am now retired and my life is very different than it was.

How you can know Jesus too

Jesus said, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you will eat with me". (Rev. 3:20 NCV)

"Ask, and God will give it to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And everyone who knocks will have the door opened." (Matt. 7:7 NCV)

Won't you open the door and let Jesus come into your heart today?

You to can know Jesus as your personal Savior. All you have to do is to say this simple prayer with me. "Dear Jesus, I am a sinner, I ask you now to forgive all my sins, past, present, and future. I thank you for dying on the cross for me and invite you to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Teach me how to serve you as my Lord and Master. In the name of Jesus. Amen"

Marilyn, you're so pretty! Even better, it sounds like you're a beautiful person on the inside too. God really does make radical changes in our lives when we open up to Him, amen?  :)

The world is very fair to see
The artist will not let it be
He fiddles with the works of God
And makes them look uncommon odd!

Hello, I noticed a lot of similarities in our testimonies. Jesus has been wonderful to me. I can't imagine my life without him. I am truly blessed.

Thank you all for the nice things you have said about me.

On Oct. 31, 2003, I quit smoking after 50 of those nasty things.  Life is so much "cleaner" without them. I should have been dead years ago from either the drugs or the abuse. I came so close during those abusive years, regaining consciousness and thinking  that I wish I had died and would not have to go through the abuse again and again. Sometimes I think about that time in my life and realize that even then God had his hand on me, that my death was not part of his plan. I thank God everyday for saving my life those many times and bring me out of, literally the desert, (I was living in the Mojave Desert), and bringing me to Northern California, McKinleyville, and into Abundant Life center where my church home now is.

I stand in awe of an Awesome God.
